Materials Science Research: Electroactive Covalent Organic Frameworks
Researching a relevant topic in materials science to produce a research paper and an oral presentation.
Description
This project was part of the final deliverable for my materials science MSCI 340 course. The purpose was to present on a topic that the rest of the class was unfamiliar with but would be capable of understanding. I chose Covalent Organic Frameworks (COFs) as my topic, since I already had some prior background knowledge on the topic from the research I conducted over the summer of 2021. I focused specifically on electroactive COFs, which could be used in electronics and energy applications such as photovoltaic devices, transistors, and photodetectors. At the end of this project, I had produced a research paper as well as an oral presentation.
